Password privacy
Passwords are generated in the browser. Passwords are not stored, transmitted, logged, saved in analytics, placed in cookies, written to localStorage or sessionStorage, or added to URL query strings.
The password strength checker also runs in the browser. Typed passwords are not sent to ThePassKey.
Information we may receive
Standard hosting systems may process normal technical request data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This is used for site security, performance, and troubleshooting.
If advertising or analytics tools are added later, they should be configured to respect privacy and comply with applicable consent requirements.
Your responsibility
Use unique passwords, store them in a trusted password manager, enable multi-factor authentication, and change passwords quickly if you suspect exposure.
